After getting Sulpher Dioxide in my Sulphuric Acid pipes for the second time today, I'm really missing the old pipe cleaner mod. Does anyone know of an alternative?

That bugs me also a lot. Especially when transporting things with logistic train network mod.

The basic problem is imho, that „filter pumps“ are missing. That is really needed. it would fix 95% of all cases. The remaining cases wouldn’t be so hard to fix.
With than in mind we can also introduce some kind of warning: hey player here is an area, where two different liquids can go inside.

Try this mod: https://mods.factorio.com/mod/PipesFix - you cannot place connection between pipes with different fluids anymore.
