Is there a dev kit or a place i may obtain the models used in Factorio.. Models=inserters,belts, poles, assembly machine, trains...etc.

According to Scott, there's a strict no-distribution policy on all the 3D models that will likely persist past the 1.0 release.

Question is, what would you like them for. If your need is reasonable enough, devs might be able to help

It's an SMS. Unless you want him to post his mobile phone to you, getting access to the source will be hard

Another non-public source, in this thread there's the quote "Unfortunately we cannot allow any 3rd party project use any of our game art assets, Especially if they would be distributed outside of our game, such as bundled with your app."
