What are your plans for multiplayer?

Well, it's somewhat quiet lately, almost everybody just waiting for the next bit of news from Multiplayer. And while it's still somewhat far away, it's becoming a bit more real with everyday that passes.

At this point, i'd actually like to ask the community: What are your plans/preparations for the the day it drops (or the weekend thereafter)?

aka do you have any friends recruited/addicted to factorio?
Will you stock up on Energy drinks and fast food and plan a marathon?
Are you planing to mute your cellphone or notice your RL, lessnerdy friends that you will be on vacation for a couple of days?
Or just everything normal?

I for one got 2 friends recruited that will play with me the weekend after launch (however many bugs there are). And yes, we will have a supply of food and E-Drinks readily available at that day.

So, what are your plans?

edit: moved a sentence

Yea, this is really threatening :) We will release the first experimental release of the multiplayer, and people will start to play it with joy, just to find out there are so many bugs ... and they will hate us for sure :)

Ohhh, we fully expect bugs... and crashes to desktop... and bluescreens of death... wait, can we leave them out pls. Scares the hell out of me. :D
Atleast my friends and me are dedicated to write many bugreports.... you should be stacking up a load of Energy Drinks too Kovarex. Or coffee. Or whatever keeps you awake fixing those bugs.

We will be brave and no bug will stand in our way. It will be glorious!

We have all become very well acquainted with your definition of "buggy".

If anyone complains or hates your guys because it is less than perfect, they are morons. Its an early access game after all.

My plans for multiplayer are to find some people that would like to do a hardmode lets play with me and post it to youtube :)

So, the big feature drops that everybody is waiting for and the first thing you plan to do is update your mods? :D

Well, factorio modders are one of a kind. Commited to quality mods.

I'm hoping to run a decent server for my community. Sounds like though might not have a full dedicated server feature but hell I don't mind getting another account and running it 24/7 on a Dedicated box :)

I plan to take a day (or two) and play with some friends. Perhaps some of the guys from Hydra Dilemma.

I will say though... If I ever play with -root, we will have to have separate factories otherwise his crazy complicated, sky-net type builds will take over my beautiful simplicity. :D

My Folks once did a 30 hour marathon of OTTD... you just need 2-3 good friends, a teamspeak, a few cans of Rockstar (or whatever your poison is).... and junk food. loads of junk food. Or a good delivery service.
Best of all: we all three have gamer girls at home.... they don't mind ignoring us for a day or two.

My guess is that Factorio will be the second game that'll last longer then a day for one full playtrough (although i'm pretty sure that bugs will likely prevent this for the first week or so).
