I just hope 0.17 releases on January 17th my birthday, i mean that would be perfect. One cannot really ask for much more i think?. Other than well designed light poles of course. First time im scared about HD graphics, really hope they listen, else we could be forced to run low res sprites

I guess that could also work! the sooner the better.

I hope 0.17 will be released soon. I was at the middle of making my new megabase when science changes was announced. Few hundred hours of playtime and maybe even more of planning has been lost changed to experience

Nothing is ever lost or wasted imo in Factorio. I learn something every time, i get just a bit better.

I'm sure it'll get released in the last week of January. With all the work they had to do for 0.17 I wouldn't be surprised.

They won't release on a weekend and not on a friday, probably not on a monday, too. They will also surely promote the release ~1 week in advance in the FFF, so not this week. I also think they won't release next week as the previous FFFs didn't contain many "we have finished [...] and will now work on the last stuff for 0.17!".

So... I say March the 5th.

I'm just hoping that the devs look at it the way we players do. No factory, however big, is ever "finished". They should always look for ways to make the game work faster and more efficient.

Maybe if they installed more blue belts at their office they could get around faster?

To be honest I've been eager to start a new game since beginning of January. However the Friday Facts pointed that 0.17 was just around the corner, and since there are quite major changes - including in various formulas - I decided to wait for the time being. It's getting so hard to keep on waiting!

So... Am I the only one waiting impatiently for 0.17?
