This topic is for discussing new and balanced but challenging enemies that introduce a new element and will help us not be so sad when our fortresses cant be touched because of the limitations of the biters and spitters. What I am suggesting is to add late game enemies like when you get nuclear bombs and power then you will start to see a less creepy and more reasonable enemy of the old creeper (enemy of factorio 6.4 version) that maybe has been militarized, but that's my idea you guys can add more and maybe better enemy ideas than what I can and this is the topic to do so.

A few things:

1. The developers have said that combat isn't the main focus of this game.
2. There are mods (go to mods.factorio.com and search for enemies or AI or something and you'll find several)

4. Just because people suggest mods doesn't mean that suggesting it was a bad idea or won't help it get in the game.
