so my bots used to place wood in my inventory or into a storage chest when using them to clear forests.. now they just clear the forest destroying the wood forcing me to manually chop down the trees to gather wood... anyone know what i did or what changed that caused this to happen? i want to use my bots to gather raw wood for me

Nothing has changed for me.

What mods are you using?

If you're in range of a roboport, the construction robots may come and cut down trees for you, taking the wood back to storage containers.

If you're not in range of a roboport, only your personal construction bots should cut trees, and they always bring it back to you. (Was working for me on 0.15.28)

Lay down a requester chest and see what happens. I bet all that wood is just floating around in storage/drones somewhere and you haven't seen it.

i figured it out.. it was a mod

Im more curious why do u want Wood when your in the bot fase ?
By that time i got 20k stacked and building steam engines, just for getting rid of it.
