At the start of my game I choose "Water only at the starting area" and without a way to transport water except a really huge pipeline I am very limited in the layout of my factory

Since I enjoy train transportation I would really appriciate a function to load barrels with water so I can transport them to my chemical plants and I also want to use them in steam power plants across different sections of the planet

Is that easily made with a mod?

Have you tried the Liquid Station Mod?

I remember hearing somewhere that electric pumps may have a lower 'push' rate than the offshore pumps. This was back in a thread where I mentioned that it appeared as though pumps attached to the steam cycle caused a 'blowout' and the whole system failed.

If it was a matter of flow restriction, I wonder how many pumps it would take to match the offshore flow....
