Better forum search

Yeah, i find the search annoyingly restrictive, e.g. i can't search "steam" or "wiki" because apparently those words are "too common"?

Join PHPBB's development team and develop an intelligent search that implements an artificial AI then.

Uh? Not sure why you'd need an artificial AI
Its either a blacklist of words or a given "max search results" thingy, given the size of this forum so far I doubt its the latter unless they set it really low..

There is no actual blacklist. However I checked and there is a threshold percentage to ignore words which are present in more than X% of the posts. These words are then ignored for the search because they are considered too common. I have changed the value from 5% to 10%. However it might take some time to propagate.
I am quite new to phpBB administration so if you guys have any experiences with this then let us know
