Gettin pretty impatient too. Want to make a bigger base but my laptop is kinda slow and I don't really want to buy an expensive pc just so that I can play factorio with bigger bases so really hoping that they give an ETA for 0.16 this FFF. Fingers Crossed.

Now that 0.16 has been announced for the coming week, I am even more impatient!

I thought that this almost-a-year-old thread is going to die.

I want to see the gui update in 0.16 no matter how much more do I have to wait before a "new" Factorio version. In other words, I am not impatient.

Nah, you're just impatient for the 0.17 patch.

And with all of the optimizations in 0.16, you will be able to build a larger kingdom.

Honestly tho, I get more and more impatient just thinking of the day the devs would introduce programable drivers, so my trains can place the rails on the fly.
Only then I could rest.

or for 0.17, just saying

I am now impatient for the update to belt compression (mentioned in FFF #222 and this dev post) and the belt sorter splitter (mentioned in FFF #225), which, as far as I know, are both supposed to be released before 0.17.

Of course, I am also impatient for 0.17.

For god's sake, where is 0.16.17?!

According to the last Factorio Friday Facts, some of the devs are at a gaming convention in Taiwan. I guess we will have to wait for them to return before we can expect a release.

Grumble grumble. When the splitter filtering was announced I was just about to start building a new smelter array. I thought great, I can make use of this filtering to do a mixed iron-copper smelter with splitter filtering of the output. My smelter is sitting in a half built state with hacks to get it working for ages now.

Just to be clear, I don’t mind waiting and it’s better to get the next update right before release, my post is intended to follow the lighthearted spirit of the thread

Now that 0.16 is stable, I can't wait for 0.17.
