Coming to day

It'll slip; Software projects (particularly games) always do. I'm boiling over with anticipation, too, but I've got a mop handy to clean up the mess.

I've been playing .9.8 for 30 days now and still not sick of it. I knew early on that machine sounds would be about the only thing "over the hood" for 0.10.0 so for me it wasn't going to be that epic of an update.

For me the big big update will be the one that introduces more end game content, and the one that will introduce multiplayer. But I know those are months, if not a year, away.

The game as it is now is still incredibly fun, even if I already have most things figured out.

Mods are getting updated quickly and are slowly adding lots of good end-game content. It'll be even better when the game gets greenlit

Personally, I think the Replays are being under-anticipated! I'm not sure how they'll work, but I'm hoping that I can use them, during gameplay, to hunt down the occasional gap in my defenses (You know; "Where did those Biter's come from??") And to show off some of the cool things that happen, but I don't have the time/presence of mind to record in the moment!

I agree. I think Cube mentioned how important replays were in Starcraft for him, so I bet they get it right. More options are always better, and if I am able to use it in a running game, forward or rewind and maybe jump to a certain timecode, I think not much can go wrong. We'll see, but I am intrigued.

0.10 update is out or not?

Pfft, didnt even notice it was friday. You guys, they aren't gonna release it. Version 0.10.0 is just a ruse put on by a joint task force made up of the NSA and the Gay Jewish Agenda. It's not REALLY gonna come out until next friday.
