Yesterday I joined a random multilayer game on the server list and during the loading the game gave me some achievements such as; (total 12)
-Circuit veteran 3
-Iron throne 3
-Computer age 3
-Mass production 1
So it turned out I joined the most developed factory around there, since I've seen that map on twitch.tv as well.
I left the game 1 minute later because it was nothing for me.
But wtf are those achievements? this is really annoying since I can't delete steam achievements and now the game thinks I have achieved them, which is not of course...
What I see is a design fault with steam achievements are still being activated by default when joining multilayer games, other than that there is no control when to enable or disable your steam achievements.
(there could be a fail safe system asking you; you are about to acquire the 'iron throne 3' achievement which is
producing over 400.000 iron plates within in a hour
, do you accept this achievement?[multiplayerwise of course])In general I don't care about achievements, I only care about the achievements for games I like to play, since it shows my certain milestones which is fun...which is why achievements are there for games in the first place.
First of all it ruined a lot of fun in this part because I have earned them without doing anything and second of all I know what the achievements are now which I rather keep unknown for myself to be surprised for what I have achieved.
Can anyone relate to this problem?
