Two times worth the effort!
Perhaps you should mention in the comments, how you have created it...?
And what would be the absolute top: open this as mod, so that everyone replay it and see, how you
really created it.

This will be done. The trailer mod + scenario map and control file will be part of the 0.10 release.
The map is based on one of my real games from a while ago. Though we have used map editor heavily to extend it and polished it.

It's very nice. Congratulations.
However, I thought it was going to take the raw material on a journey to armour piercing round to auto-loaded turret to killing biters. I think I would have preferred that approach.
It is so much better than the previous one. I think you need to be very careful with what, to me, seemed like a comedic narration approach. Very difficult to pull off.
I wish you every success with your new marketing push, and hope you consider sites like Rock, Paper, Shotgun again. The lead guys seem to be taking a back seat now, so you will have to contact someone like the site editor Graham Smith to get coverage.

Are those the famed sound effects I hear? Mining drills crunching ores? Air brakes? Steam engines chugging?

Yes, not all of them all fully integrated, but it mostly is.

I would say it's really good enough to catch the "spirit" of the game in relaxing manner.
So yes, it's good enough for steam or whatever presentation of the game as a... well, trailer.

A really clever and well thought out trailer, I watched it in awe.

Congrats on finally getting the trailer out! I was considering watching the preview version a couple of times, but I'm glad I waited for it to get finished!

Just wrote a preview on Sector.sk, waiting for admins to approve it.
Pretty much waited just for this trailer.

I love this trailer, it is obvious that you spent a lot of time to make it work, and it really represent the game well.

Nice job LSky! I added one for
r/linux_gaming.
It's really cool to see that much excitement for a new game from people who have never heard of it before. I think the trailer is a huge success!
Also sorry for not playing OpenTTD in so long, I guess now you know why.

So, now that the new trailer is out and it's 1st of May, do you have a link to any of those famous Youtubers videos who were told to wait with the release till now?
I mean I'd like to send some particularly good examples over to my friends, since a Let's Play conveys more info than a trailer. One of my buddies was amazed to see the trains in action but would like to know more about the basics and I'm bad at explaining stuff xD
