yeah i dont understand how im not able to update my mods/sreach in the main menu of the game.it keeps saying password and user name dont match on the auth server

Can you try resetting your password on the website:
https://www.factorio.com/password-resets

log in with your factorio.com account. note: that is NOT the same as your forums account
