Just asking if Herobrine is in factorio is because I found that my splitter is facing the wrong way. It worked quite well for the entire game, but is now rotated...

(For anyone that doesn't know herobrine. It's from Minecraft.)

You can rotate placed objects by hitting 'R'. Are you sure this didn't happen ?

That probably happened....

Any idea how to disable it so that it can only rotate when I'm building stuff?

And thats how legends are born

There is no way to disable it that I'm aware of.

assign a different key so that you don't hit it accidentally ?!?

It would be nice to be able to "lock" part of your factory from changes. Maybe it could be a blueprint like tool.

Should be shift-R, I think that would prevent this.

That sounds like the perfect scapegoa-I mean explanation for all the times things get unintentionally rotated in my factories!

Wasn't Herobrine originally a glitch? That became an event mob of sorts, and then a meme used as the minecraft equivalent of gremlins.

I'd just as soon not have anything like it- I do enough damage by myself to the workings of my factory.

Herobrine was originally a creepypasta, and was never actually in the game in any way, shape, or form. Mojang later referenced Herobrine in changelogs to jokingly refer to the removal of some unused mob code.

I hope that this community never gets an equivalent entity, because we are actually mature.
