Damn it my sleep schedule will never survive this

Post by Tythus »

A friend of mine was saying he'd been playing this game for a little while and I should try it out so I went all in and bought the base package and I'm afraid to say this is terminal diagnosis......I have enjoyed myself too much and can now not stop playing my times are l33t and I have barely stopped playing this is the current autosave although I have had a couple other games over the last day.

The symptom that will indicate the next stage of infection is dreams about belts and inserters. Watch out!

You know, planing your factory in excell and work out perfect productionlines and be alot in the forum is the next step.

But i know the problem. After discovering the game i had a little bit less spleep at night...just a bit...just some hours.

But after the first steps and days in the game, i now have managed to have a balance once again! At the moment i play about 1-2 hours a day and can keep my social life healthy...

But for real help: Just give yourself a timecap (say about 1-2 hours) and give yourself a kind of partition. For ex.: "Today i will build up my ironore-production and increase the defense". Then quit the game. :)

Hopefully you don't have a job or school.

I'm glad I was unemployed when I found the game. lol
Still am somewhat, it will suck when I find a real job and have stop playing all day every day.

The stage after that is dreaming of the robots noises.

and so on. ;)

Seriously: I really, really recommend to install some kind of reminder, that keeps track of your time before the computer and tries to stop you (more or less hard).

Something like this for example:

Cool suggestion: Eatable MOUSE-pointers.
