Splitting the belt advice.

Post by GDL »

Hi gents,

Great game but I keep hitting the an issue and for the life of me, I can't see a small space solution.

If I have a single belt, with say Coal on one side, and copper on the other. How do I split that up to two different belts. One coal, the other copper without the use of smart inserters.

A splitter will give 50/50 of both to two tracks but not 100% of each over two tracks.

Is there a kind of V shaped track splitter in the works?

Thanks.

Use a splitter, then feed both halves into the sides of underground belts. One lane of the belt is blocked by the shroud on the underground belt piece, whilst the other moves onto it freely.

I'd have never come up with that.

Many thanks to both of you!
