Verified status for Steam Deck?

To my surprise finding answer to my question is not easy - are there any plans to officially optimise Factorio for Steam Deck? Meaning to pass the Verified status for Steam Deck? Ive seen some mentions of that topic from early 2022 and im not sure if thats a dead idea?

It's not dead, I'm working on it right now.
I realize it's taking a long time, there are many things to implement and test. The update will support multiple controller types on all platforms(not just Steam Deck), as well as take advantage(to some degree) of Steam Deck trackpads.

Thanks Twinsen. I was looking for the same info and I appreciate hearing something about it, even if it's "still working on it, nothing to report yet."
