What I adore about this game

What I really adore about this game is that each time I play it I learn something new. And the new knowledge motivates me to start over and imnplement the newfound ideas. The surprising part is that starting over does not feel tedious at all! I did not know how comfortable OCD actually can be :D

It is like every time you see what you can do better or different you kind of are stimulated/motivated to change. I have played around 100 hours (according to Steam) and not yet finished a base. But thats okay because I am motivated to create a smooth system flow. This is the best part of learning the game so you get a feel of what is going on. I have turned off enemies because I have yet much to learn. After I understood how important science is and the mess of my labs setup, I became motivated to change it. It can only be better, yeah?

I am astonished of the fact that starting over does not feels like a chore at all. Actually I like to start over again and again. Madness? Like you are in a loop and you feel home. Craziness in action? I dont know but I do it over and over again :D

I dont understand why this game has captivated me so much but it is surely a fate I share with thousands of others

Yeah, I love starting over. I rarely load up previous games these days. There's a great mod that will randomize recipe requirements as well, which is a lot of fun for me.

I also love early Game. Maybe you would Like overhaul mods, which extend early Game.

Each time I learn something new, I start over. I've started over more times than any of my friends who play Factorio (which, admittedly, is only two), and more times than I can count. I try to build as organized a factory as possible, organizing the bulk of my belts into a main bus with other product belts shooting out from it. Would you care to share images of your latest factory?

It's looking great! I love your organization. I tend to make things so compact that production ends up becoming unscaleable, or at least very difficult to scale. I guess I'm used to playing with limited resources. Let me attach some pictures. You'll also be able to see that I've started over so much...I haven't made substantial progress.

No mods...yet!

Thanks :)

You have a good setup yourself. Inspiring to look at the screenshots.

I wont lie. The smelter setup is inspired by a YouTube tutorial by Katherine of Sky but everything else are my creations.

I only use QoL mods and a bunch of helper/graphics/information mods.

That's about where I am technologically. Artillery has been the closest tech I've gotten to launching the rocket. Also, you have some creative names for your trainstops, haha. And geez, you must be consuming resources like a madman to need that many outposts.
