No Sound

Factorio 1.1.36 (build 58829, mac, steam)

Hope someone can help I get no sound when playing factorio on my mac. I have removed all factorio files/dir from my mac and rebooted to no avail. Sound works fine on everything else including all other steam games

Is there something else I can do?
