[1.1.35] Crash on start, heap validation fails

my friend has never played factorio before and when he tries to load into the game it crashes at 95% loading while loading sounds.

his pc specs are; OS version: Windows x64 v10.0.19042
CPU Model: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor @ 3.6 GHz
GPU Model: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER
Monitor Hz: 165 Hz
Memory: DDR4 16 GB 3200MHz

already validated game files restarted pc redownloaded the game all of that basic stuff still does not work sorry if it is a bit diff to comunicate with me never used the factorio forums before i am desparate "sorry if i am annoying"

With the heap validation failing and the game crashing at a point no one else reported a crash of this looks like broken hardware, I'd run www.memtest.org over night.
Why is he forcing opengl?
