old version update issue

Hi.
I bought Factorio in 2017. My current version is 0.16.51
I just download v 1.1 and tried to go on with saved games. Told me "your game must be saved in 0.18 version" but when i try to update my old version : "Download failed, status 503".
What can I do ?

Download and install 0.18.47, load and save your save file with it, move it in your 1.1 install and play the game.

How? The latest version I see on the download page (before 1.0) is .17.79.

Have you tried opening the save in 1.0.0? What is the save files version?
