Hi,
I was having an issue with everything loading in extremely slowly (loading maps) even when all mods etc had been turned off.
I went looking for a rout cause and started by doing a clean install, after which everything was super fast again.
I started by checking the settings to see if I broke something there perhaps but nothing I tried made the load times slow.
So I add back in my mods but everything was still fine.
Then I added back my blueprint library file and it all went to shit.
The file is around 122Mb and has some really (really) large bp's in there.
The problem is that I actually use these bp's.
Not sure if there is anything that can be done about this but I thought I'de post it anyway, if only to get the word out (if it wasn't already) and have a reference point for future googlers.
For now I will be removing / backing up some of the lesser used bp's and hopefully get my load times to something reasonable again.
If there is anything else I should or could be doing I would love to hear it.
Thanks.

Might be a candidate for the performance thread? viewtopic.php?t=17501

Press control shift alt and click on settings. Under “the rest” you can enable caching different things, which should decrease load times.
If the loading time is *really* long you might want to make a performance issues post.

Those are for game load, not map load. Either way those are only for sprites and prototypes (i.e. not blueprints).AmericanPatriot wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 12:58 amPress control shift alt and click on settings. There are 10 types of people: those who get this joke and those who don't.

Looks like I didn’t read the “loading maps” part of the original post.Jap2.0 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 6:26 amThose are for game load, not map load.
