Loading and saving games take a lot longer now upgraded from 0.16.
I save to an SSD and files are large @ 547,852 kb.
I think I might just need more memory, but it there anything I could do to speed the loading/saving other than buying more RAM?


Mod installed are : Bottleneck, Lamps on Map, Research Progress Frame and Yarm.

Computer Spec:

I5-2500k overclocked to 4.2mhz
16gb Ram
500Gb SSD
2Gb HDD
Geforce 2070 RTX.

Try removing YARM. Everytime I've tested saves with long loading/saving times that had it, it always ended up that it was storing loads of information about resources bloating the save files.

Removed Yarm and everything is miles faster!

Didn't realise it was causing so much lag even in the game. Save games are only a bit smaller (533,783kb).
