Transfer savegames to a different OS?

Transfer savegames to a different OS?

Havn't been able to find the answer to this yet:

Can I transfer saves between different OS versions of Factorio? Eg. can I save in windows and pickup on a mac?

I might be transfering saves soon, and need to know in advance if this will work. I assume the answer should be yes? :)
