Good Day!
I recently got into playing Factorio a lot but I am now unfortunately facing a big problem.
I started playing Factorio on my desktop PC but created a new Map today on my Laptop.
Steam has now overwritten my Desktop File through their Cloud saving System.
Can anyone help me to get back my old Map from my Desktop PC?
I think it might be located somewhere in the Steam cloud, but I have no Idea how to access those savegames.
I already tried to look into my local games Folder %appdata%, but it seems like those have been overwritten as well.
Thanks already in advance.
Kind regards

Re: Gameplay File overwritten by Steam
If you over wrote the map in game then unfortunately you wont get it back. Steam made this feature so that you could keep going on the same save file no matter what computer you are on and no matter where you would be.
My advise would be to either be a little more careful on how you save your games or disable the Steam Cloud feature through Settings on Steam or individual setting for each game.

Personal advice : name your games differently. Each map should have a different name. No overwriting.
