We've tried having my computer host while she joins, or my wifes computer hosts while I join. Both times it desync's on multiplayer join. Well almost every time, except when it's feeling charitable... for some reason.

We're fully updated this time (16.27, but none of the recent changelogs said anything about desyncs), and I went through and updated all the mods (but none of their changelogs said anything about a desync fix).

My upload speed is terrible but i'm going to let it sit here and hope the upload doesn't time out.

By removing mods until it no longer desyncs you can find out what mod is responsible.

We just did that. The only mod that seems to be letting me in after toggling it off is Homeworld Redux, which we've played with since the start of the game.

That doesn't make any sense. Is there any way I can track down which item or code in the mod is causing the problem?

EDIT: I contacted the mod developer. Hopefully he has some insight.

EDIT 2: I tried disabling ALL mods except homeworld redux, and the problem persists. it's definitely just that one mod.
