I have Factorio Headless running on my Linux server, using factorio init and factorio updater. I have my config.ini's write-path set to __PATH__executable__/../.. however, it still looks at ~/.factorio. I tried setting the path to anything, however, it ignores it, but the read path changes fine.

Are you sure you changed the config file the config path file points to?

It's very confusing (I suggested it be an option in-game). I know it works, because I did it, but beyond that I can't give you much help. Sorry.
