System basics:

Quick background:
Been running smoothly at 1920x1080 for over a year where it consistently pulls 60 FPS and runs silky smooth unless the map is absolutely huge. I just added a new Dell S2716DG to my rig. it runs at 2540x1440, and has G-Sync enabled. On the same game map where my old monitor got 60 FPS, the Dell gets maybe 20-25 FPS and stutters so bad it is pretty much unplayable. Any tips on getting this to work smoothly on the Dell? I know Factorio can stress the processor, but the video issues surprised me.

Also note that I am running .15x. I haven't tested the full release version.

try disabling g-sync.
[edit] also make sure you set it to 'maximum performance' in nvidia control panel.

Thanks for the reply. I figured it out. I totally missed the V-Sync check box option in the video options. Once I unchecked the box it ran smoothly.
