Hi all,

As the topic says, what's the best way to get a [legit] steam key for gifting purposes?
(pls not g2a but will go there if it's the only way)

I purchased an additional key from the factorio website but it only lets me link it to my own account..

and the "Email me steam key" option is not available from the second account I created
(as this option on my main account only sends me my own steam key).

Any help would be appreciated!

If you buy it from Factorio website, check the "gift" checkbox, and enter a friend's email address instead of yours, I guess he'll be the one who'll receive the key : Or you can always buy it to offer directly via Steam. That works too.

Thanks but I'm wanting to post the key the old fashioned way..

(someone from the factorio team replied by email with a workaround and I was able to get the key - Christmas is saved!)
