Hi folks,

Great game, thank you. I'm having lots of fun.

I was playing tonight with the most recent version of the game and it froze. When I got back in, when I click on any object, I am no longer able to see 'into' the object -- see its properties, see slots, etc. My mouse works otherwise, and also works properly outside the game.

Here's what I've tried:

- Tried starting a new game to see if it was a corrupted game file. Same issue with fresh games.
- Rebooted
- Powered off and restarted
- Tried 'Uninstall Game' and re-installed game using Steam client

Another symptom is that the escape key no longer gives me the main game menu. It doesn't do anything. I have to Alt-Tab and right click on the taskbar icon to close the game. The other keys (movement, keyboard shortcut etc.) seem to work normally.

Looking for your advice for a fresh installation, preferably not losing my save files.

I've attached the two previous log files.

Try deleting %appdata%\Factorio\config.
