BSOD Internal Scheduler Error when playing.

Hello guys. I sent my N550JK to authorized technical service for screen flickering last february. Ever since I got my computer back, I'm having BSOD with Internal Scheduler Error. I suspect it happens during auto saves. I asked about this problem over Reddit and they said it could be a failing hard drive. Anyways I replaced my hard drive and it is still happening. I've tested my RAM's with memtest86, I tried to stress the GPU and CPU. I can't figure this out. I'm having this BSOD with only Factorio and nothing else. For example, more demanding games like NBA2K18 and War Thunder are all working fine but I cannot play Factorio for even 1 hour.

Bluescreens can be caused by hardware defects, OS bugs or driver bugs, I would begin with removing the current graphics driver and installing the manufacturer recommended version.

Well the machine has GTX 850M and i tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver several times over the months. It doesn't work. I need a tool to reliably detect which hardware is causing the problem. Another thing is, it is very weird that only Factorio is causing problems and no other game or application else.

How long did you run memtest86 for? It usually has to run for a few hours (or overnight) to find the issue.

For testing I usualy recommend playing the game without the dedicated graphics card and relying on the internal GPU, but since it is a laptop with no secondary GPU can you upload a screenshot or picture of your bluescreen?
If you intend to change the graphics drivers anyway then use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) first: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/dis ... nload.html

You can also post a screenshot of your bluescreen after it happened, using NirSoft's BlueScreenView: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
Also post the contents of your log file, while it won't log the crash itself it logs all your computer specs and factorio startup parameters, which might be useful.

So I tried disabling the Nvidia card and using integrated Intel card. Game wouldn't even launch. It got stuck at 40% at "cropping bitmaps", then windows gave a notification as "Application has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware".
Anyways, the BlueScreenView gives this https://imgur.com/a/KyDhS. And can you tell me where the log files are so I can upload them too?

nvlddmkm.sys is an nvidia graphics file which can mean any multitude of things are broken from simple OS drivers to hardware (the GPU being bad).

Do upload the log file. See https://wiki.factorio.com/Log_file.

The crash on loading whilst cropping bitmaps at 40% has come up in other bug reports. I suggests you try some of the steps from viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9300. That might allow you to play on the integrated intel graphics.
