Hello!
I recently decided to get back into factorio cause of all the cool new content, however, when i join a friends non-dedicated server, i get the error message "your client sent wrong data to the server and was disconnected", this happens anywehre from right away or up to 10-15 minutes later.
I have tried deleting various folders and just attempted to re-install the game all together, which just caused this error to pop up withing seconds on my first attempt :/ I tried to check the internet and this forum and didnt seem to find anything similar, Any idea on what i could do to fix this?

Are you on the same version? If not, I would think there would be a warning message. If so, I really have no idea.
