Not enough video memory

Hello there,

with the latest experimental version of factorio i can't set the sprite details on high, because i got this error message:
Not enough video memory (VRAM)

We could not detect how much video memory (VRAM) is available on this cvomputer. The recommend...
When i start GPU-Z, it shows me the amount of VRAM (4GB actually)

If there a way to set this value manually in a ini-file?

Thx for reply.

Greetings, Ronny

Do you have up to date drivers?
Might help with Factorio reading VRAM incorrectly.
Also please post the log that game generates - it will show amount it detected there.

In previous releases, after this alert, value was NOT changed, but if You change it again to high (without other actions in options) it stays there... Has it changed? If so, 15.19 is the last release I have downloaded...

message is not error but warning.
and if you have AMD graphic it's know issue (btw. i reported it some time ago too).

anyways, after you get that message, just set it to high again, and save it.

people with less than 2 GB should not set to high, but inability of factorio to detect VRAM size on AMD cards is known issue (i have R7-260x)
