Broke game playing with graphics

I played around with the graphics settings and the game complained about failing to load sprites and probably being due to running out of video memory. I cut back on the settings a bit and now the game fails to load when loading sprites. The game is plain vanilla with the new 0.15.9 beta
I tried a few things including turning off my second monitor via Windows Key + P > Computer only to no avail.
I am new to the game and don't know my way around the game files much. Here is the current log file:
