I moved this from update to this board.

We can't help you like so.

Please answer to your request these questions:

- have you restarted the game?
- what does the game tell you at startup?
- what is your current version?
- can you copy the configuration for us to have a look, see where it is in this article:
https://forums.factorio.com/wiki/inde ... _Directory
- you know, meanwhile you can download the game from the homepage?

-v0.9.8
-config-path=__PATH__system-write-data__/config

#This value specifies the way the aplication generates default values for path.read-data and path.write-data
#When set to true, it will use system directories (Users/Name/AppData/Roaming/Factorio on windows), this is set to true
#for the installer versions of Factorio, as people will usualy install it in program files, and the aplication can't write
#to program files by default (without UAC turned off), similar with osx/linux packages.
#When set to false (default value for zip package), it will use application root directory, this is usable to create self-sustainable
#Factorio directory that can be copied anywhere needed (on usb etc), also for people, who don't like to manipulate saves
#in the windows users directory structure (as me, kovarex).
#Note, that once the values in config are generated, this value has no effects (unless you delete config, or the path.read-data/path.write-data values)
use-system-read-write-data-directories=true

Its say this when i click the download link in the v10
This is the cutting edge "experimental" version. There might be some nasty bugs. Use on your own risk. Your computer probably won't explode though :).

Its the same 0.10 we're all using. The same 0.10 you would get from the updater you're trying to use.

Sorry, I cannot see, what you are doing and there is either something stupid wrong on the server or you make something simple wrong. :)

I have no access to the server logs, it makes no sense to help you here. Please contact the support-address I mentioned above.

Currently you don't miss anything big, v0.10.0 has some small problems. I really don't see the need to update now.
