Crash on resize/maximize (0.14.22)

Post by robhol »

So, no matter when I resize the game, it crashes or otherwise bugs out. While loading, it stops loading. If in-game, I get this message:

Image

The video memory is completely fine, so the error message is wrong. (And grammatically incorrect. :P)

I'm on the newest drivers for my GTX 970.

When resizing on the main menu, it crashes. This is the resulting log file.

Hi, I noticed you use RivaTuner Statistics Server (probably with combination with MSI Afterburner), is it still problem if you disable it? Do you use any other overlay software?

Code: Select all

14.812 RivaTuner Statistics Server hook detected (rtsshooks64.dll)
I would like to find out what is causing it so we can fix it or workaround it.

Anyway, as a workaround try to open Factorio properties in Steam library and set launch options to

Code: Select all

--force-opengl

Closing the Rivatuner server seems to make the difference, thanks! For the record, I use the FPS counter in Geforce Experience as well.

Thanks for the info. What version of Rivatuner server do you have installed?
