Importing Rail Strings - Straight Rails get offset?

Hi all! Sorry if this is in the wrong section. Please delete if it is.
I got Factorio this week and I'm loving it. I'm currently working on a rail network and am testing out rails. I've been trying to import rail blueprints using various mods that make it possible to import blueprint strings("Foreman", "Blueprint String", "Killkrog's Blueprint Manager", etc.... Basically all the available ones that I could find to make sure it wasn't the mod causing the issues).
However, with every single one of the blueprints I've tried to import that have rails (and ONLY the rails, every other entity is fine), the straight rails that are pointing in any of the 8 directions (N-s E-W and diagonal) all seem to be offset when I open the blueprint. The tool-tip image preview appears to be correct, but when i hold the blueprint in hand and hover over the landscape it goes all offset, and when I place the blueprint it gets placed that way. Construction robots also can't deal with the weirdness and only build some of the system (the rails that haven't clipped into other entities).
I've included images below that might help explain a bit better. Does anyone know of this issue, and a possible fix? The blueprint example is from Zisteau's Meiosis series, which was updated today, so it should work with my version.
Thanks for any help!
