Whenever i try to open Factorio a window starts rapidly flashing then stopping with the error message
"Failed to create display." I've seen this error message on the forums and they all don't help. Most say restart PC. I've done that, several times. I've adjusted the config file file too as one post said and that didn't work either. Factorio version is v0.13.13.
Can anyone help?

Hi, first update to 0.13.20 or 0.14.17. Then try to run it again, if it fails again post here factorio-current.log (its location depends on your OS, and kind of build you have - steam, installed or ZIP package build)
Also post information about your hardware configuration.

You have a problem with your graphics card / drivers, check if your drivers are correctly installed.
Factorio was not able to determine what graphics card you have, and you're running in 1024x768 resolution although the native resolution of your laptop is 1280x800 (
source), which usually means that the wrong driver / no driver is installed.

It's probably graphics driver issue as Daniel said, but it also might be problem with DirectX installation

Well i found a driver that my outdated graphics card could support, and installed it. No problems anymore.
