I don't know why but my system meets more than the minimum requirements to play the game. yet some reason even on single player on a brand new fresh map my fps is at 30. Even in the title screen fps is at 35... I even closed everything I can on my pc and the game still has that.

Also before you ask yes I updated the drivers and no I don't have any mods installed.

Here's my system stats.

GeForce GTX 960 4gb
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670 CPU @ 3.40GHz
16GB Ram
64 bit Win 7
Also the game is installed on my SSD

can you check debug menu details, what is consuming most of your gpu/cpu?
not sure if F5 or F6 will be enough, if not, try F7 :D

Well not sure how just the title screen would be causing low fps. I tried pressing those in it didn't work so went in game. Wow it's hard to read depending on where you are and especially with f7 I can't read it at all... Here a screenshot of the info.

Try the following (check your FPS after every step):
  • Make sure your graphics drivers are up-to-date
  • Go to Options --> Graphics and enable/disable VSync (change it), set Video memory usage to All
  • With Factorio closed, open %appdata%\Factorio\config\config.ini and set force-opengl to true if it was false, or false if it was true
You'll need to restart Factorio after every step.

not sure why, but that flip value is insane, mine, even on games with lot of "polution" first value don't get past 2, last can go up to 30, but usualy is around 15 ... guess devs might know, what it means. other values seems normal to me.

Thanks everyone. Not sure how/why it was the vsync but dissabling it did it.
