Scaleable graphics

Hello Factorio-Community,
as i am really enjoy playing factorio, but as i am not very good in technical terms i have the following question:
As i browse the internet for factory designs and layouts i often see users with better graphics than i have. esp. when zoomed in, they seem like hd-graphics. I had a look in the graphic settings of the game but do not see any option to apply this to my game too. What do i have to do to get these "hd-graphics"?
