So, when I try to join a multiplayer server, it is downloading the map etc. But at the end it doesn't say ''catching up'', and just shows the background of the main menu as shown below. I am playing on the steam version. I have tried the non-steam version, this version works just fine. But I want to be able to play on the steam version for achievements etc. I have played over 90 hours and until now I had no problems. I have tried:
- Reinstalling factorio
- Delete /appdata/factorio
- Tweaking graphic settings
- Reinstall Java (I changed Vava settings a day before this begun.)

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

FIX:
So, I've deleted everything in \appdata\Factorio and in steamapps\common\Factorio. Now it works again.
NOTE: When you click delete in the steam launcher, it will not delete everything in steamapps\common\Factorio , you need to do this by hand.

is that factorio version 0.9.0? you might want to update to the newest version

It is version 13.20.
