Subject says it all, 0.13.12 and 0.13.13 are unplayable.

Vsync will be automatically turned off and hidden from the options menu if desktop composition(windows aero) is on.

Ok... so in Windows 8.1 I'm not seeing anything named "Aero" explicitly.

Does this mean if I want to play Factorio without my eyeballs bleeding I have to turn off all compositing features? (Shadows under windows, etc)

Exactly what harm was caused by having the option present?

Ah, I can just play in windowed mode.

Suboptimal but at least it's playable.

Nevermind - in windowed mode it gets super jittery when zoomed in. Guess I'll hope the next update addresses this.
