Hey,

So since im not able to run a server on my linux machine, i wanted to setup one on my own pc. So i can play even tho the other player(s) have a crappy internet connection and im not also lagging because of it.
So i want to run it on my pc, (where i also play the game on)

I downloaded the Zip version of the game (from the download page) so i can still play on my steam account, This all works wonderful. Untill i want to connect to the game, Trough localhost, or my ip it both tells me the port is already in use.
so does this mean you cant play the game on the same machine as you host a headless/dedicated server on?

EDIT:
This is the console output of the server when i try to connect to the server:

You need to edit %appdata%\Factorio\config\config.ini and change the port. You also need to port forward the new port.
