Can anyone tell me how to downgrade my game? I want to get a mod, but it does not support my current version, and I do not know how to downgrade my game. I am also using a windows non steam version of the game if that helps. Thanks in advance!

The only downgrade available is 0.11.22, which you can get here.

Find a version of your mod compatible with 0.11.22.

I recommend you download the zip version, so it won't mess up any other install.

It's also worth checking in the unofficial updated mods section: viewforum.php?f=120
Checking the last couple pages of the original mod thread might turn up a successor mod, or someone who has already updated it.

If you post the mod's name, and a link to where you found it, we might be able to help more.

Can you go more in depth on how to do that the link you have only had the demo and i tried installing that with the zip but the free play has been disabled

If you have bought the game on Steam, you'll have to wait a little.
If you have bought the game on the site, you need to log in to get to previous releases of Factorio (same link).

Awe most the mods i want are though 11x but oh well thank you for the reply

The Devs are working on a way to allow Steam purchasers to access the website, so it's just a matter of patience .

Maybe if you're in-game than you can get this information from steam profile and upgrade profile to premium
