After some time I update server, but cannot continue in save (space age)

Server start log:

New installation with Linux headless server 2.0.28 without mods. Got same error.

As per checking wiki page: https://wiki.factorio.com/Multiplayer
There is mentioned only one requirement: "Note: Factorio now requires glibc version 2.18"

My version is:
root@nuc:/home/factorio# strings /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6 | grep -i "release version"
GNU C Library (Debian GLIBC 2.36-9+deb12u7) stable release version 2.36.

0.258 Error Util.cpp:81: Failed to load mod "elevated-rails": __elevated-rails__/prototypes/entity/elevated-rails.lua:389: module __elevated-rails__/graphics/entity/elevated-rail-chain-signal/rail-chain-signal-elevated not found; no such file __elevated-rails__/graphics/entity/elevated-rail-chain-signal/rail-chain-signal-elevated.lua
It sayes in log precisely the reason. It can't find a file.
no such file __elevated-rails__/graphics/entity/elevated-rail-chain-signal/rail-chain-signal-elevated.lua
Check if it exists (the location could look different at top level, you can try

Code: Select all

find -iname 'rail-chain-signal-elevated.lua'
) and what permissions directories have in there. The base and core seems to boot fine.

Understood that issue, but I download just fresh Linux headless server. It shouldn't miss any file, right?
Yes it should not :)
About your command:
There is no file like: rail-chain-signal-elevated.lua

Only:
root@nuc:/home/factorio/factorio_new# find . -iname '*rail-chain-signal-elevated*'
./data/elevated-rails/graphics/entity/elevated-rail-chain-signal/rail-chain-signal-elevated.l

Bit strange.

I try to dig this issue a bit.
Once I try to unzip factorio-headless_linux_2.0.28.tar.xz via Midnight Commander, I got files:
elevated-rail-chain-signal-l
elevated-rail-chain-signal.l
elevated-rail-chain-signal-m
elevated-rail-chain-signal-s
rail-chain-signal-elevated.l

But once I try to unzip it via command: tar -xvJf factorio-headless_linux_2.0.28.tar.xz I got correct file names:
elevated-rail-chain-signal-lights.lua
elevated-rail-chain-signal.lua
elevated-rail-chain-signal-metals.lua
elevated-rail-chain-signal-shadow.lua
rail-chain-signal-elevated.lua

Seems like a bug of MC, reporting it. (https://midnight-commander.org/ticket/4624)

Thanks! problem is solved now and server works!
