hi,
I'm currently trying to debug some random stutter issue and noticed that when I set "video memory usage" to medium and "atlas texture size" to 4096, that standing in a specific spot in vulcanus is causing quite a big drop in FPS even though my GPU usage is at 35%
Terrain render seems to be the issue according to the screenshot? It's usually when zoomed out with lava - I drop to 40-45FPS, but if I move to a different area (say, just ground sprite without lava), then my FPS goes back up to 60. This is just looking at the bare map, there's no player buildings etc. on the screen that would add to the GPU load
I can also improve the FPS by putting the 2 settings above to "all" and "largest possible" - however I feel like a 3060TI should be able to easily handle looking at basic terrain with some of the optimisation settings turned down slightly?
Like I said, I'm trying to debug random stutter and I think that running around is causing a very brief drop below 60fps. When stood still at 60FPS I still have a good 9ms of the sleep stat left

Re: Low FPS when stood in specific spots in Vulcanus
I just solved my own Vulcanus UPS bug, it looks like demolishers cause FPS and UPS issues.
I may be wrong but I think avoiding areas with many demolishers and not having a lot of radars helps.
