As per the title, the game mostly loads to the main screen but if I try to load a save file or start a new game, it crashes.

I think I have attached the correct file but please let me know if it's not the right one

this issue is occurring when loading the steam version.

I have downloaded the copy directly from the website and it works fine so far.
