Error 520 trying to connect to authentication server from China

Well this type of filtering is entirely out of our control. Are you able to access https://direct.factorio.com ?
Great, you can add this to your config.ini to let Factorio use the Cloudflare bypass.

Without knowing for sure I can only guess that some Government body in China blocked the webpage for some reason. The reach covers the whole of China, and some Chinese players can't even access the Factorio website. Are you figuring out what the problem is? As far as I know; nobody is looking into it. Now the problem seems to have somehow disappeared?
