Can't find save directory MacOS Ventura M1 arm

Hi I installed the game using the 1.1.76.dmg from the website. I don't see any folder that was extracted during installation that contains the save game files. I also checked ~/Library/Application Support and it doesn't contain any factorio directory. When I uninstall and reinstall factorio on my system it shows my save files again automatically, but I can't find them anywhere to be able to copy across to my desktop. Anyone know where they might be? On a M1 arm Mac with MacOS Ventura 13.2.1
