[1.1.53] Game freezes and system too while playing

Hello, probably 1/0 magic (hardware issue), but anyway.

System randomly freezes when playing Factorio (and only Factorio, not other games). Sometimes alt-tabbing helps, but sometimes everything freezes, including the system. Sounds stutter and then stop altogether. Image is still on the screen, no BSODs or anything. Have to reset, waiting does not help at all.
Tried AIDA64 stability test, seems to be OK.

The only thing I can think of is my slightly underclocked GPU, which probably the culprit, because I had to underclock it like a month ago to mitigate other game crash (but it was only the game crashing, not the whole system).

Any help appreciated.

TLDR:

1. What did you do?
Just playing the game

2. What happened?
Game freezes and then the whole system

3. What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
No freezes and no crashes

I think I figured it out.
This is what happens (and only in Factorio...):
Capture.PNG
Capture.PNG (112.81 KiB) Viewed 1224 times
Freezing was related to custom TdrDelay values in registry.
I removed custom values from registry and it's not freezing the whole system anymore, just crashing the game.

Any suggestions? Drivers and all are up to date, sfc scan done, etc.
Factory is not growing...

Might be your power supply size/age/wiring not properly powering the graphics card? That would be easier to fix than some other issue with the graphics card or motherboard.

Fixed it by uninstalling graphics drivers and performing clean installation. Just updating drivers did not help. Should've done it in the first place
